Printing - One Sided printing on a Mac

Some E-Copy printers are set to 2-sided printing by default. The command for one sided printing on Macs comes from the program that is doing the printing.  If this is not changed it will always print 2 sided.

If you are using Microsoft word this is what you do:

  • When you click on the Print icon you get a pop-up box
  • There is a pull down box that says Copies & Pages.  Click on the down arrow
  • Select Layout / Finish
  • Make sure the Print Type has 1-sided selected

If you are printing a PDF do this:

  • When you click on the Print icon you get a pop-up box
  • Select the box that says Multiple under Paper Sizing & Handling
  • Change Pages per sheet to 1

If you are printing from the Google suite:

  • When you click on the Print icon you get a pop-up box
  • Click the arrow next to More settings
  • Make sure the Pages per Sheet has 1 selected.
