Accessing your H:Drive on a MacBook

You will have your home directory (H drive) mapped when you are at school, connected to the network and logged in. Once you are connected, you can drag the desktop icon to your Doc.

You will have to re-connect to it if you leave the building/network. This will prompt you for your network password, then you will have access. Please see below to get to your network files from home.

If for some reason your H:drive doesn’t appear, you can map it manually by going to your desktop and selecting Go-->Connect to server from the top.  Then use the following address (type in your user name where is says username).  You will then be prompted to log in and you will gain access to the H:drive.

Location is: smb://homedir/username$.
